Hi there - we availed of your wonderful service in 2007 when we rented Casa Majnoni for two weeks, we had a fabulous holiday - for this year I was wondering if you had any availability of a coastal property for the week 3-10 August?

I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful week at Casa Majnoni - i have been to Tuscany many times, but i think this was the most beautiful, traditional house and location i have stayed in. I don't think the pictures on the website do it justice - the views were gorgeous, much nicer than i expected. We enjoyed every minute at the house and exploring some new places - Marti, Montopoli, Pontedera and, loveliest of all, San Miniato where we had supper a couple of times. My son had great fun navigating all the hairpin bends! 
It was all so relaxing, especially nice to return to after a day in Florence and a morning in Lucca. But our happiest time was probably in the gorgeous garden, by the pool or sitting outside late at night. It was perfect. 
If i may register one small complaint it's that it would be good to have some more umbrellas by the pool - there is currently only one which is heavy to move, not enough in such strong sunshine for 6 people - and perhaps some slightly lighter sunloungers. 
Casa Majnoni is a special place! I would love to return some time. Thank you for your help in organising the holiday - you have a delightful list of properties. I hope you have a happy holiday too.

Truly beautiful Tuscan Villa

A fabulously located pretty Tuscan Villa with owners that are very close and always helpful. Well equipped and well kept property that lends itself to a quiet, relaxing holiday overlooking lush Tuscan countryside. We very much enjoyed the true Tuscan feel to the whole property and the helpfullness of the owners who went out of their way to make the stay a joy.

Lovely, very private, clean and comfortable villa with 3 large double bedrooms, a peaceful garden & pool and stunning views. Fabulous location for exploring much of Tuscany by car and also by train from Pontedera (10 minutes drive away). Laura came to give the children pasta making lessons, which was wonderful and the pool was regularly cleaned. Great vineyard nearby, for tasting wines and Tuscan food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - many thanks Genka.

This is a lovely villa with beautiful grounds - it's great having the grassy airy above the pool. It is well equipped and spacious. It's a short walk to Marti (it's a shame there is only a small local bar there and no restaurant and the bar isn't open every day). Close to the Fi-Pi-Li so easy to get around by car and close to train stations for trips to Florence etc. Watch out if arriving on a Sunday to try and buy supplies in advance.

The villa is an exceptional property in a commanding position with views across the Tuscan countryside. I went there for 2 weeks in summer 2013 with my wife and 3 children, and we had a wonderful time. On the outskirts of Marti, the villa is within easy driving range of all the wonderful Tuscan cities - Siena, Pisa, Florence, plus a host of smaller charming towns. There are also extensive restaurants in the local vicinity. What sets the villa apart is the care that its owner, Genka, takes of families renting the villa. The villa is well catered for, and is very clean and comfortable. However, it is the extra touches that Genka provides, such as regular and unobtrusive pool cleaning and house maintenance, plus really useful recommendations of days out, supermarkets, restaurants, and even the best routes when sat nav struggles with the local roads! I recommend this villa heartily for those who love summer heat, peace, barbecues, swimming (the swimming pool is ingenious, as it includes a ledge where babies and toddlers can safely potter), food, wine and relaxing. 

Unsere Woche war traumhaft. Wir waren vier Personen (Eltern und 2 Jugendliche, 15+17). Das Haus liegt fantastisch, wir haben die Aussicht jeden Tag und zu jeder Stunde genossen! Der Pool war für uns perfekt und wurde reichlich genutzt. Wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Tolle Alleinlage. Genka begrüßte uns persönlich und gab viele tolle Tipps. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, aber leistungsstarke Ventilatoren und auf dem Hügel weht oft ein angenehmer Wind. Nimm Mueckenspray mit und freu dich auf eine wundervolle Zeit. Wir wollten gern noch bleiben und konnten uns nur schwer trennen.

We had a lovely week at Casa Majnoni. The villa is quite remote but if you’re looking for peace and quiet and beautiful views and sunsets it’s perfect! 
Our boys loved the swimming pool as well as discovering the local wildlife in the garden (‘saving’ lizards from the pool was a highlight for my youngest!).
We had some great days out to Florence and Pisa which were easy to access from the villa. We hired a car and used park and ride for Pisa and the tram system to get into central Florence as advised by Genka.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here-just make sure you pack heavy duty insect repellent if you’re visiting in August!

A group of 6 of us, my 2 grown up daughters and 3 friends have just come back from a wonderful stay at Genka's beautiful villa. We had gone for a few days to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was just as described, very spacious, lovely large garden with ping pong table, outdoor seating and lovely pool which was cleaned daily. Inside the villa, the bedrooms were large and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were very clean, and even a downstairs shower. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking utensils, crockery and glasses you could need. 
On the first day, we visited the family vineyard and received an excellent, informative tour by Cesare. We also enjoyed a delicious light lunch put on for us there along with the wine tasting. This was followed by a tour of the centuries old family villa with stunning paintings & tapestries. Over the next days we went into Lucca, well worth a visit & Pisa!I would definitely recommend this house.

We immediately felt at home when we arrived at this stunning property. There was plenty of room for our family of five and the kids jumped in the pool as a soon as they could. Picturesque views and quiet, but also very close to so many sites (you will want to rent a car to get around, but the train station is only a 15 min drive). We loved going to the market in town to get food to make in the well stocked kitchen. There’s also a delicious restaurant within walking distance.
We would happily go back to Genka’s place anytime!!

Our stay was beautiful from start to end, waking up to the surroundings and being able to see over of the hills in the distance was exactly what we were hoping for in Tuscany. 
Genka was a very proactive host, helping us with any questions we had about the area and even going out of his way to provide us with extra information on local markets and walking trails (both of which we really enjoyed). 
The villa is so peaceful and serene we found ourselves wanting to spend a lot of time on the grounds rather than going to explore Tuscany every day. The pool in particular was a favourite of ours, used multiple times every day and it was nice to see it cleaned daily by a member of staff who came early in the morning as to not disturb - very professional! 
We hope to be back in the near future!

Just returned after a week stay in June.
Beautiful old farmhouse villa, stood on top of the valley with wonderful views and draped in beautiful smelling Jazmin.
You won't regret booking Genkas villa. The villa has everything you require for a great peaceful private stay. Fully equipped kitchen comfortable large bedrooms and endless supply of hot water for the bathrooms.
The pool is the icing on the cake to come back to after a day out.
Genka will advise you on many local attractions, very informative. One of the recommendations is a wine tour of his cousin's vineyard. If you have the time take the tour so informative, not to mention the wine tasting and lunch.
The villa is located about 30 minutes drive from Pisa airport. The train station we used to get to Florence, Pontedera, is about a 20 minute drive away. 
I would say a car is essential when staying here. We also booked the local restaurant in Marti for our last night, very good.
